Order made: to close that part of U40208 Clacks Farm Lane from its junction with C2142 Boreley Lane to its junction with U40210 Boreley Lane.

Reason: Safe working for overhead Fibre cabling works by Openreach.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2142 Boreley Lane, U40210 Boreley Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 19 September 2023

(C2073 Haye Lane, Ombersley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2073 Haye Lane from its junction with U40202 Hadley Lane to its junction with A449 Main Road.

Reason: Water main bypass installation by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion Clockwise - C2073 Hadley Lane, A4133 Droitwich Road, A4133 Main Road, A449 Main Road (southbound), C2073 Hadley Lane; Diversion Anticlockwise - C2073 Hadley Lane, A449 Main Road (southbound), A4133 Droitwich Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 months.  Anticipated duration: 12 days.  Commencing: 21 August 2023.

Boreley Lane (approx 35m from Carpenters Farm, Ombersley), will be closed for urgent burst mains repairs from Thursday 6th July - Monday 10th July 2023.

DIVERSION OF FOOTPATHS OM-505 (PART) & OM-506 (FORMERLY FOOTPATH 3) IN THE 
PARISH OF OMBERSLEY 
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2023 
The above Order, made on 8th June 2023, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 
53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpath, and modify the 
definitive map and statement for Worcestershire accordingly, 
Footpath OM-505 running from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SO 8212 6722 (point A 
on the Order map), proceeding in a SE direction, for 274 metres (m) to OSGR SO 8226 6699 (Point 
B on the order map) at its junction with footpath OM-506 & OM-507, to a line running from OSGR SO 
8212 6722 (point A on the Order map). The path proceeds in a S direction along the field edge for 
106m with a width of 2m to OSGR SO 8213 6712 (point D on the order map) before crossing a 
hedgerow via a gap and turning to proceed across a field in a SE direction for 211m to OSGR SO 
8231 6700 (point E on the order map) at its junction with footpaths OM-506 and OM-507 as shown 
on the order plan. 
Footpath OM-506 running from OSGR SO 8226 6699 (Point B on the order map) at its junction with 
footpaths OM-505 & OM-507. The path then proceeds in a S direction for 207m to OSGR SO 8228 
6679 (point C on the Order map) at its junction with Wyneyards Lane, to a line running from OSGR 
SO 8231 6700 (Point E on the order map). The path proceeds in a S direction along a grass path for 
204m where it exits through a gap in the fence to its junction with Wyneyard Lane at OSGR SO 8229 
6679 (Point F on the order map).

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the County 
Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for 
the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have 
not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.

Reason for restriction: Urgent Tree Maintenance. There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

3. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with U40214 Holt Fleet Lane to its junction with U40215 Bennetts Lane.                        
4. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 1 day commencing 5 July 2023.
5. Alternative routes: - U40215 Bennetts Lane, C2142 Boreley Lane, A4133 Holt Heath to Holt Fleet and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOW A NIGHT TIME CLOSURE - 19.00 - 06.00 AND EXTENDED UNTIL 30 JUNE 2023

Order made: to close that part of A449 Ombersley Road from its junction with A449 Claines Roundabout to its junction with A4133 Main Road.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A449 Worcester Northern Link, A4536 Hurst Lane, A38 Droitwich Road, A38 Roman Way, A4133 Ombersley Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 months.  Anticipated duration: 12 days.  Commencing: 12 June 2023.

Order made: to close that part of U40219 Wards Lane from its junction with U40220 Woodhall Lane to its junction with C2152 Uphampton to Holt Road.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U40220 Woodhall Lane, C2152 Uphampton to Holt Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 25 May 2023

Proposed Order: to close that part of A449 Ombersley Road from its junction with A449 Claines Roundabout to its junction with A4133 Main Road.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A449 Worcester Northern Link, A4536 Hurst Lane, A38 Droitwich Road, A38 Roman Way, A4133 Ombersley Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 months.  Anticipated duration: 12 days.  Commencing: 12 June 2023.

Order made: 

To close part of A4133 Holt Fleet Road from its junction with A413 Ombersley Crossroads Roundabout to its junction with U40223 Apple Tree Walk.

Reason: 

Replace/Renew Manhole Cover/Frame by Severn Trent water

Exemptions: 

To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A449 Main Road, A449 Ombersley Road, A449 Worcester Northern Link, A4536 Hurst Lane, A38 Droitwich Road, A38 Worcester Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 months.  Anticipated duration: 5 nights (20:00-06:00).  Commencing: 12 June 2023.

Order made: to close that part of U40221 Uphampton Lane from its junction with A449 Main Road to its junction with C2152 Lineholt Lane.

Reason: Surface dressing by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Southbound diversion: - C2152 Lineholt Lane, C2152 Woodfield Lane, A449 Main Road (southbound), A449 Exit sliproad to Ombersley (southbound), A4133 Droitwich Road, A4133 Main Road, A449 Main Road (northbound); Northbound diversion: - A449 Main Road (northbound), C2152 Woodfield Lane, C2152 Lineholt Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 months.  Anticipated duration: 15 days.  Commencing: 15 May 2023

Order made: to close part of Boreley Lane from its junction with Uphampton to Holt Road to its junction with A4133 Holt Fleet Road.

Reason: Surface Dressing

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A4133 Holt Fleet Road, U40214 Holt Fleet Lane, U40215 Bennetts Lane, C2142 Boreley Lane and vice versa.

Commencing: 15 May 2023

Anticipated duration: 5 days

Order made: to close that part of C2142 Boreley Lane from its junction with A4133 Holt Fleet Road to its junction with U40218 Parsonage Lane.

Reason: Overhead telecoms work by Openreach.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U40218 Parsonage Lane, A4133 Holt Fleet Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 months.  Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 11 April 2023

Notice of temporary closure - A4133 Droitwich Road, Ombersley comm 13/1/23 due to resurfacing carriageway.

To close part of U40219 Wards Lane from its junction with C2152 Uphampton to Holt Road for a distance of 280 metres in a South Easterly direction.

Reason: New water connection by Severn Trent Water.

Notice of temporary closure - A4133 Droitwich Road, Ombersley comm 9/12/22

Temporary closure commencing 29/11/22 due to carriageway patching.

Temporary closure of Uphampton Lane, Ombersley due to carriageway patching commencing 28/11/22

Reason for restriction: Openreach to restore customer service.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with U40200 Chatley Lane to its junction with C2138 Hadley Heath.
2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 2 days commencing 3 November 2022.

3. Alternative routes: - U40200 Chatley Lane, C2086 Hawford to Hadley Heath Road,
   C2086 Hadley Heath to Ladywood Road, C2138 Hadley Heath and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

Reason for restriction: Water Leak / Burst Main.
